our shows!

profound, personal experience

Come along to a Public Performance to glimpse the lives of others and reflect upon your own life.  Witness stories come to life with dramatic tension, movement and music.  Laugh or cry in recognition and take away a renewed understanding and appreciation of the human experience.

This is a chance to tell your story, connect with others’ stories and marvel at the skills, thrills and spills of the improvising performers.   There is no need to tell a story, you can just enjoy the performance.  Watch the personal become the profound as the skilled improv actors create an ensemble work of depth and resonance.  Enjoy dynamic, creative and meaningful theatre about real life experiences – it’s real, illuminating and unique every time.

In 2010 Playback Theatre Sydney has six performances at The Newtown Theatre, cnr King Street and Bray Street, Newtown (near St Peters railway station).
