What our clients are saying about us…

November 28, 2016

We work in organisational culture and teams, and in 2016 performed at conferences and ran training, workshops and role plays. Recent clients have outlined the value we offer their business cultures – read about our work below:

Liverpool City Council’s Diversity and Cultural Intelligence Training (partnering with Prisma): a) The diversity training was an eye opening and enchanting experience which I will carry forward with me in everyday life. I encourage Council to maintain the high standard of presentation for future new starters, and to retain the services of the Playback Theatre group (they were amazing!). / b) This course was by far the best I have attended in my long career in local government. The trainer was excellent and the Playback Theatre group were entertaining and highly valuable in helping to make the concepts clear. Liverpool Council is to be congratulated for providing this training. Thank you.

Yara Ibrahim from Northside Community Forum, Chatswood: You absolutely fulfilled our purpose in engaging you for our training. The young people learnt how to self-express freely and creatively, build self-confidence and interact with peers and build relationships.

Service NSWPlayback Theatre was an absolute delight to work with. From the outset they were highly motivated, keen to understand the brief and contributed a range of excellent ideas to ensure that our outcomes were achieved. Throughout the whole process of working with Playback they were consistently professional, accommodating, full of great ideas and a lot of fun. They were able to communicate serious messages in a fun and engaging way. I highly recommend them.

Catherine Slattery , Director of Mission Integration, Good Samaritan Education, Blacktown: You added great value to our conference by helping the audience move from their head to their heart, exposing us to our vulnerabilities, yet feeding back a sense of energy and focus as we paddle down our particular river. I know we will re-visit some of the wonderful metaphors that were used in the performance.

Deborah Redley from Arts Health InstitutePlayback Theatre Sydney were very responsive to the needs of our organization. As a dynamic and innovative organization we wanted a playful, touching and creative celebration of our journey from all perspectives of the business, and that’s what we got. The actors skillfully got to the heart of each story to delightfully reflect the personal journey and the universal stories we all share. It was very on-point and wonderfully engaging for all stakeholders – creatives and guests.

Cate Malone from the Clinical Excellence Commission for Open Disclosure Training: Thank you again for such a professional and valuable contribution to the Patient Safety Manager Workshop. I would appreciate if you passed our thanks to your team they were amazing and so professional. I hope they know that their contribution will have a positive impact on staff, patients and families.

And from us – thank you to all our wonderful clients over 2016 – it’s been an absolute pleasure and honour working with you and in your culture to create positive change. Bravo!
